Tamyra Smith Davis the published author of the book entitled “A Fool in Love "Embracing the Healing Process of an Abusive Relationship is originally from Orlando, FL and currently resides in Troy, Al. She is the happily married wife of Timothy Davis, proud mother of Jatobien, Jatavian, Kinsley, Jyolonda and Kareem and Grandmother to Jatobien Jr, Grayson, Harmony, QJ, BJ, Amir, Dakota. Tamyra has a passion for empowering others to find their strength through pain and transition from being the victim to becoming victorious. In addition to being an author,
Tamyra has dedicated herself to building her community. She is the founder of the Teen Power Organization of Troy, Al a place where the youth can be cultivated and exposed to a new light. Since 2013, Tamyra has utilized her voice through various motivational speaking
platforms to encourage and uplift. Even her career choice allows her to apply her passion of building better people in the mental health field where she joyfully serves others with compassion and care. To broaden her horizons Tamyra is currently pursuing a certification in Financial Services. Free time is limited with all of the things on Tamyra’s plate however in the moments when she is able Tamyra enjoys traveling, crafting, reading and spending time with her family.
Tamyra will be featured in the upcoming documentary entitled “Black Mothers Love and Resist”. Her selfless nature and infectious personality are the perfect combination for her to continue to pursue her lifelong desire which is to encourage the hearts and minds
